The website Sabzian is a collection of online reflections on cinema and maps cinephile events in Belgium and surroundings. In 2013, we co-founded Sabzian with a group of young Belgian filmmakers, meeting our shared desire to invest in a thriving film culture. Engaging a variety of writing styles and a carefully selected agenda, Sabzian seeks to deepen the discourse and the imaginative capacity of cinema and visual culture.

Avila makes films available online through video on demand and offers both contemporary and classic documentary and fiction films. The platform takes off with a selection of Belgian work. 

Together with documentary filmmaker Elias Grootaers we founded the platform Zéro de conduite in 2013. The name is a reference to Jean Vigo’s eponymous film made in 1933, a lyrical ode to youthful rebellion. As Zéro de conduite, Beursschouwburg invited us to curate a number of film evenings between 2013 and 2016.
